I feel your pain. I'm here just to read funny posts. They are getting few and far between. Actually, that's not quite true. I am here to waste time. Actually, that's not quite true either. Jeez, you can always use the Tech or racing forum for interest and pleasure. OT is just a sewer hole to get sucked into. (I have to slum it sometimes :D)

I'd have to agree that things are spiraling down the toilet here, lately. I'm not looking for everyone to agree with each other, it would just be nice if some folks acted like grown-ups.

I also don't think it's fair to blame this decline on any one person as there are many folks quite eager to jump in and fling the feces about . . .

At least I am still capable of self-filtering the miscreants and, so far, able to keep it from getting to me too much. :)

Some people like to talk politics and religion, others like to ignore them and focus on humor and levity. I've never partcipated in anything more serious then "what song you hate" or TV show you like. Doesn't take much more then reading the headlines and skipping the ones you don't want to particpate in. You being the moderator would make that difficult and I can certainly understand. ;)

I think that it was people dissing China for cheating in the Olympics w/ the 10 y.o. girls that pushed him over the edge. NS identifies as Chinese now, though he's really about as Chinese as Chuck Norris or Billy Jack. :cool:
