Don Julio 1942 tequila for $99!! Over here it would cost me $300!!
I wanted to get my hands on some Don Julio 1942 tequila so I started shopping around.
The price difference is stupid. hitimewine.net (Costa Mesa CA) are selling it at $99 thewhiskeyexchange.com (london) are selling it at £110...except they are out of stock... casadeltequila.ch (switzerland) are selling it at £150!!! would someone like to help a fellow pelican and forward on a bottle for me?

I was wondering how one would get away with shipping booze to Brit-land....
Olive oil is great for making popcorn the non microwave way...

__________________ Andy" I have friends who live overseas. Recently the USA postal service eliminated surface mail packages overseas, insisting on air freight only (I suspect they contract with Fedex). Also, for customs purposes, photocopies of receipt of what is being sent. This pretty much dried up my ability to send car parts to Evren, USA food items to my friend Stan in Germany, the list goes on. Things just got too expensive to mail. USA postal laws forbid shipping booze. So, I assumed the booze was shipped to you as "olive oil"? Olive oil works great for making non microwave popcorn. Cindy & I prefer making popcorn the old fashioned way, placing the kernels in boiling oil provided by a popcorn maker appliance. Takes longer, but tastes better, has less calories than the microwave stuff.

pwd, see what you mean. the cost of sending a bottle of 'oilive oil...' at 6lbs in weight, from the usa to the uk was $55 which is fine with me, considering the value of the 'oilive oil...' but if you are sending regularly to friends then i can see how it could start getting costly.
varmint, im done with my booze wants for now but if you have some sensibly sized parts that you need sending then I can help you out. email me. andy'at'gbarnett.co.uk
