RE disaster headed for your wallet....
I kind of wish the money men would quit shell gaming and present the US tax payers with a bill. At least then we could have some kind of accounting as to who really bear the most responsibility in this train wreck. But its not going to happen. FDIC is now at the door looking for a hand out. And were going to pay it.....with plenty of IOUs from the Chinese. And Americans blithely go about their business and bltch about gas prices.
http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/26420600/ I ask again. What exactly is going to happen when the Arabs, Chinese and Russians realize that were not good for our debts? Maybe sell them Alaska? Wow does this make me angry.....

The agency also plans to charge banks that engage in risky lending practices significantly higher premiums than other U.S. banks, Bair said.
Well that's brilliant! Too bad you didn't think of that FIVE YEARS AGO! We have all these government agencies to regulate all of these different sectors of business. Then when a business sector goes to hell, you realize that they really weren't regulating them after all, or at least not in a relevant way. What exactly do these people do? Govt efficiency at it's finest!
