				Survey: Support or Oppose?

I read most the political threads. I'm struck by the range of emotion, vitriol and entrenchment. This got me thinking, at what level are people more opposed to their favored opponent versus supporting the positions of who they will vote for. In other words, is the guy you will vote for simply the lesser of two evils? Assuming that the opposition to candidate X is greater than the support of candidate Y, is this correlated to the spectrum of political leanings? So I have put up a very brief, anonymous survey: Support or Oppose: Click Here to take the survey If we can get enough people to answer the couple of questions, I'll run the cross tabs and share the results. And since our political threads tend to be focused on a group of folks with clear political leanings, rather than having to voice you opinion in the public forum, we might be a broader view of how the OT crowd is distributed. Might be interesting. Don

24 responses so far. Results are interesting. Let's try to get more than 50 respondents before we draw any conclusions. Thanks! Don

WTF kinda poll is this?? "describe your affiliation, Dem, Rep, Ind and Other"? Do you mean the actual singular Independent Party, or the more general, publicly accepted "independent party", which means "third party"? Because, if the latter, then C and D are the same. "Who do you intend to vote for, A, B, other, none of the above"? You are aware that if anyone chooses "none of the above" that they are therefore not voting, right? Your choices are very poorly put together.

Lighten up Francis? Maybe think of something original to say. Fact remains, it was poorly put together, and therefore, anything produced by it...get this...is going to be fallacious. But, that's not what you wanted to hear, is it? I filled it out, to the best of my ability, but since it was specifically designed to EXCLUDE voters like me, it won't show.

LOL! You can't please everyone. I thought the poll was fine. At least it wasn't 15 pages long.

Okay, don't get your panties in a bunch Michael, is that a little better for you? Maybe you need to take a douche or something. You could have written your own poll in the time you have taken crying in your soda pop. That poll took what, 5 minutes; perhaps you can file a claim to be paid fair wages for your time, what is one twelfth of minimum hourly wage?

Geesh! Its not your poll. If you don't like it don't bother with it. The world does not revolve around your immediate likes and dislikes. Learn that and you will have a happy long life. Geesh, its a poll on a german car gear head forum, Geesh.

Update: Up to 69 responses. I have to upgrade my account again to download the data, then change the graphs into .jpgs or stick the html up on my site. Having a BBQ here, hopefully I'll find the time later today, if not, tomorrow. Thanks, Don
