I am a porsche/mercedes guy, but one of the top car restorers (Gullwings ect) in San Diego County won a new corvette in a drawing, he is amazed at the quality of the workmanship, fit ect. I like Corvettes, They are built better than a Ferrari in my opinion.

I've owned a boxster and spent time in a Z06 at the track. Go boxster. No question. Who cares about any kind of reputation. It's your secondary fun car.

But do get an S. The early boxsters (like I had) are way underpowered.

Boxters are for chicks, plain and simple. I dont know what the stats are, but from my observations most Boxster drivers are chicks or feminine men
