Question What's worse.....

I am thinking of getting rid of my 07 Corvette and maybe getting a used Boxster for around 20k...

So, the question is...

whats worse, being a corvette guy, or a boxster guy?

I think coming here with that question is worse. You should drive what you like and what the rest of us think is crap. I would gladly own either or both.

If I keep my old air cooled 911, does it balance off the corvette-guy or boxster-guy aura?

I am a porsche/mercedes guy, but one of the top car restorers (Gullwings ect) in San Diego County won a new corvette in a drawing, he is amazed at the quality of the workmanship, fit ect. I like Corvettes, They are built better than a Ferrari in my opinion.

I've owned a boxster and spent time in a Z06 at the track. Go boxster. No question. Who cares about any kind of reputation. It's your secondary fun car.

But do get an S. The early boxsters (like I had) are way underpowered.

Boxters are for chicks, plain and simple. I dont know what the stats are, but from my observations most Boxster drivers are chicks or feminine men

I don't know, I see a pretty even amount of men and women driving Boxsters. I'd gladly drive a Boxster S.
