Chavez gives US Ambassador 72 hours to leave

"That's enough ... from you, Yankees," he said, using an expletive

I'd like to have his head mounted on the wall with his balls stuffed in his mouth right next to Osama's.

And they still buy 7-11 (Citgo) gas. Citgo is the Venezuelan National petro company.

Yes, I know, oil is fungible, but I still won't send them my money.

Citgo is doing very poorly from what I have read. Apparently many Americans realize it is owned by the Venezuelans and choosing not to go there.

Even if it weren't owned by Venezuela, those Joe Kennedy commercials ensured Citgo never gets another dime of my money. I don't buy stuff because of celebrity endorsers, but I sure boycott because of them.

No, Valero is an American company. Their headquarters is maybe 3 or 4 miles from where I moved to in San Antonio.

Called Citgo at the US stations (or 7-11).

Was a US company originally (Cities Service, Occidental), bought by Southland (7-11) and then sold in stages to Venezuelan Co.

Is still a US corporation, but is owned by Venez. Offices in Houston.

Perhaps carpet bombing.
How about the chicken **** drone bombing, like you are using in Pakistan?
They don't want you interfering with their business. Too bad.

That guy is a nut ball....ever see the video of his appearance on the game show. LOL!

But as long as it makes sense to buy oil from him....why hurt the US market by refusing it. Let's keep draining his reserve. Hugo knows we are his best customers...and he knows will are not likely to attack him. So his treat to cut us off id we attach him is just his usually nuttiness.

Not buying from Citgo may drive their gasoline prices down, but it'll have a minor effect unless we all do it. However, at the same time the other gasoline retailers will see a rise in demand, and they will likely increse their prices.

Sure it would be nice to drill for our own oil, but let's face it, energy independence is not a likely scenario no matter which side of the political line you sit. So on that note, not being able to drill off our own coast is good for the country's future. At some point we'll need oil so badly that everyone will be asking the oil companies to drill along the coasts.

Yep. Started in the'80's. On the NYSE.

Named after (in San Antonio) the "Mision de San Antonio de Valero", AKA "The Alamo".
