"Who am I"

"Who am I? I'm under 45 years old, I love the outdoors, I hunt, I fish, I am a Republican reformer, I have taken on the Republican Party establishment, I have many children, I have a spot on the national ticket as vice president with less than two years in the Governor's office. Who am I"?

Boring?

rouxroux 09-10-2008 08:04 PM

We can always count on you for a snappy answer. Dig into your US history books Mike.

You missed the complexity of my post! See, you were trying to lure people into saying "Palin". Well, she's pro drilling in ANWR...as in, she's pro BORING. Get it? SmileWavy

rouxroux 09-10-2008 08:10 PM

The answer to my question is not Palin. Your answer is "Palin comparison"...get it?

My answer is fun and ironic, your answer is fishing for an arguement. Get it?

rouxroux 09-10-2008 08:14 PM

No wordsmith, it is a historical question. Sorry to trouble you with a mind-teaser.

Pazuzu 09-10-2008 08:18 PM

No, you're trying to cause an argument. The only people who will put the effort into researching it and posting the answer are the people who want to prove the same point that you do. The rest of us are bored by these attempts to cause arguments.

Oh, and "wordsmith"? What, "nerd", "geek", "pencilneck" aren't good enough words for you?

rouxroux 09-10-2008 08:24 PM

Mike, you have me confused with some liberal who might have to use that type of language to "hammer home a point". I was giving you the benefit of the doubt since you are clever in chosing appropriate words without stooping to the typical "lowest common denominator". Should I have NOT complimented you?

I simply posted this for people to research & have fun with. Your assumption is clearly your own.

Bzzzzzzzzzzz. Contestant #2?

Jagshund 09-10-2008 08:33 PM

Is this the part where we start calling each other names?

I guess it looks that way. I try to compliment a guy and he goes off using up the "word of the month" card on me! Whew, glad I was not posting something other than a simple comparison.;)

I can tell you that the internet based research for this is much harder than you might have expected.

I'll guess, Teddy Roosevelt.

BeyGon 09-10-2008 08:39 PM

My stupid guess, Teddy Roosevelt,

rouxroux 09-10-2008 08:39 PM

You're right Mike! That was the man! I'll buy you a beer next time I'm visiting my folks down in Alvin!

Dean, he just beat you by a little bit.

Again, not trying to stir anyone's pot, just thought the email I got was neat.

That's correct. I got the email today too.

87coupe 09-10-2008 08:40 PM

I'm actually curious who it is, but haven't figured it out yet.

87coupe 09-10-2008 08:41 PM

Oops, too late.

I didn't, I did some research. I was trusting that this wasn't yet another e-mail thing going on... :(

Why? Does that make it untrue?

rouxroux 09-10-2008 08:44 PM

When I got the email, I started checking it out, bit-by-bit. I don't blindly "cut & paste". ;)
