Anyone need 2Gb or 4Gb compact flash?
Right now you can buy the top of the line Lexar cards for basically nothing. Lexar has a $30 mail in rebate on their 2Gb 300x UDMA cards and a $70 mir on their 4 Gb 300x UDMA cards. You can get them from Adorama for $35 and $75 before the mir, and adorama has free shipping on the 4Gb unit. The rebate limit is 3 per part number per address.
So you could get 12 Gb of camera storage for $15 if you get the 4Gb cards. B&H Photo is slightly higher (4Gb is $78) and doesn't offer free shipping.

I just went and checked Adorama. I bought one of the 4 Gig cards yesterday for $75 w/free shipping and will get to send in the $70 rebate, but today they've changed the price of the 4Gig cards to $120, but the 2Gig cards are still $35.
BHPhoto.com still has both cards for $38 and $78, so from them you'll end up paying $8 plus shipping. BHPhoto Lexar 300x cards

Steve, thanks for the heads-up. I just ordered a couple of the 4GB cards from BHPhoto.

Use caution if you have a Canon SLR, Lexar cards have (had?) some known issues in Canon cameras with corruption. I used to have one and it tanked taking about 60 photos down with it.

I've heard of that, but I've got only Lexar cards with my Canon and haven't had any problems.
