"McLaren have put together this tongue-in-cheek video ahead of the Singapore Grand Prix. Team CEO Martin Whitmarsh is the Ricky Gervais wannabe holding it together for this mini-mockumentary (well, it’s not very far from Slough to Woking). In a thinly-veiled swipe at the decision to hold the Singapore race at night, McLaren engineers are featuring fitting an enormous set of headlights to the front of the car… and then checking they work on dipped too!We are not convinced they are quite as aerodynamic as the rest of the car."

I was just in Singapore for work and saw their preparations for the track and the lighting. It looked bright as day with the lights on the track. The course looks pretty tight and narrow with concrete barriers running the length of the course, so very little margin for error. I think it will be exciting to have an F1 race at night.
