Just finished it. I couldn't put it down. While it wasn't the best writing, the story was good. Eve was a little too close to home (don't ask) and I nearly stopped reading it.

.ps we just tried to rescue a dog. It didn't work out. He was pretty well bonded to the woman that had "rescued" him first. So if anyone has a pup in SoCal that needs a home, let me know. I'll name him Enzo if you like. :D
