27 years to the same wonderful woman, and she helped me push the dead Porsche today. What more could I ask for!

Married 23 years to the most wonderful lady on Earth. How she puts up with me I have nary a clue, but I'm sure glad that she does.

Will be 29 years married this December 29th. Together 36 years total. I'm a lucky man.

I believe one major reason for the high divorce rate is that people instinctively tend to select partners from a first impression based on sexual attractiveness. Sooner or later its evident that the rest is not compatible. BTDT..

Hey, this is sort of interesting, not the least of which is the few (like zero) women who have responded.

The gap between single and married more than 7 years was on purpose....at least my main interest was who was able to hang in there past the 7 year itch point and have what I consider a "long term" relationship.

I'm on my second wife (10 years with this one). First one didn't work out.

Sometimes the first marriage is just for practice.
21 years on the second after figuring how it works.

BAM!! That's exactly what my first marriage was based on. After the newness of the nookie wore off, it went downhill from there.

When I met my current(and last)wife I knew after our first douple of dates that she was the one for me. We had several dates before anything sexual occurred.

Yes, my wife is hot and I had been single for a while at that time but we decided to wait so we could get to know each other without sex first.


After that...............woohoo!!!

Just celebrated 5th anniversary on 9.12. Was up in the UP last weekend with a few guys, two of which were getting divorces. Everyone was whining about their wives. My only complaint was that if I didn't come home with a cooler full of salmon my wife might not let me go fishing again!

In December it will be 18 years married to my first wife.

Just divorced in June after 23 years. As others have said no matter how 'easy' a split up is it's difficult at best. We still remain friends but I broke her heart and that eats at me.

So far: 78/39.

That's pretty much the accepted 50%, no?

With odds like that, I'll stay single!
