Rate of Divorce in the group
 

Just noticing the number of people referring to their ex's and wondering what numbers of each kind we have in our august group

I'm not listed in any of your categories.

same; male, married 1.5 years

divorced (1x).

I got the clap in the '70's:)

Married for 18 years...but I don't think divorce is a stigma, although I'd like a rebate on the wedding gifts if the union fails the test. That's all I want, a little summp'n.

Married to a wonderful creature....After two kids and 10 years, I still want to finish my adventure with her.

Going on 17 years of marriage.

Married 29 years, I was only 21 years old. One wife, one kid, one marriage.

Married 21 years, two kids. Nothing better than my family.

1 divorce. No kids together, no baggage. All debts from the divorce paid.

I tell people that my SC is my gift to myself for going through my divorce without killing anyone. ;)


Now, I have a great wife of 7 years on Monday(29th), who has given me 2 beautiful children.


Divorce sucks, even in the best of situations, but there is always tomorrow.

You need to add, "one starter marriage, then figured it out with abnother one"......

Going on 22 years happily married. I do not know how she puts up with me.

I'm in the poll twice actually. Divorced once but my second marriage I got it right & now 15+ years.

27 years ago I was divorced from my high school gf. We waited until we were 27 to get married and it still didn't work after 9 years. Now going on 26 with Susan.

will hit 23 years in November. 2 kids (one in college...so far). It's been great !

Married 11 wonderful years. I may not be the world's most lucky person but not a day goes by that I'm not thankful for (1) having met my soulmate and (2) for not ever having to have had to go through a divorce or breakup with her.

I hope I get to have this one be "for keeps" until I leave this earth. There's nothing worse or more tragic (or expensive - either literally or emotionally) than love gone sour.

Between marriages, I had 9 happy years of bachlorhood.

Then, I realized I need more supervision and less sex!!!!!

15 yrs. into the 2nd inning now.

15 years now - starting to drink more;)
