I'll sign up! Just as long as I don't have to go back to the Middle East!

You start off whining, then next talk about how tough it was when you were in.

Boot camp wasn't bad compared to the desert! I'm naturally a whiner, that's what I do best...

I'm in.
I think our first order of business should be to issue a fatwa of destruction against all Kias and Hyundais.

Send a message via AIM to vash
our army would break rank easy..the enemy simply needs to post up a cheap pair of 16x9's up for sale.

hmmm, my Army basic training in the mid 80's was very similar... I wonder if political correctness and sensitivity have taken over now? I am curious how they treat new recruits these days.

A few drill Sergeant comments I remember.

Our black Senior drill Sergeant used to threaten to "lay down some African soup bone on our asses".
This drill instructor once caught me and a buddy leaving our M16's leaning against a picnic table at a range when "seconds" were announced at lunch. He wrote down our serial numbers of our weapons (in the hundred thousands) and said we owed him that many push-ups and that from now on, every time we saw him we should drop and start giving him pushups till we matched our serial numbers. He dropped us in our dress greens the day we finished AIT training and were about to board a bus to go home.

When caught with a smile on our faces, one of our DI's used to say "why you smilin boy? Do you like me? Well likin leads to lovin and lovin leads to Fu#$en and you ain't gonna fu#$ me... Now drop! get down! give me 20! knock em out"

One used to have us sing a cadence while running: Up jumped a ranger from a coconut grove... he was a mean mother fu#$er you could tell by his clothes... he wore a three dollar beanie and a two button stitch... he was a hard core engineer, a son of a Beotch... he lined a hundred women up a against a wall... swore to himself he would fu#$ them all... fu#$ed 98 till his balls turned blue... then he backed off, jacked off and fu$%ed the other two.
