OJ is going away for a looooong time.

I was pretty surprised to see the jury come in so late at night. I thought it would have waited until Monday. Anyway, OJ is guilty on all counts. Couldn't happen to a nicer guy. Don't drop that soap!

He won't be missed...

Rick Lee 10-03-2008 11:02 PM

Just heard it's a mandatory min. of 15 yrs. on the kidnapping charge alone. That puts him at 76 yrs. old when he gets out IF the judge suspends the sentences on all the other charges. He'll leave that prison in a box. Good riddance.

Dan in Pasadena 10-03-2008 11:06 PM

Hard to feel anything except...FINALLY.

I very much doubt he will go to jail for anywhere nearly as long as he should - forever. But I hope he spends AT LEAST the same 14 years he has had to date longer than Nicole and Ron Goldman had.

dd74 10-03-2008 11:08 PM

A prime, grade-A a-hole is Simpson. He truly thought of himself as above the law. I'm not surprised it took Vegas to put the schmuck away. In L.A., they "fumbled" his murder trial...as expected.

I hope Lance Ito is choking on broken pride right now.

Rick Lee 10-03-2008 11:09 PM

Hey, where's Jordi been? Camping out by the courthouse? Jordi, where does OJ go to serve this one? Is it that prison out by Nellis AFB on the way to Death Valley? Man, that's a lonely and very hot place to spend your golden years.

o.j. will be like a hero on the inside.

but nice to finally get him on something.

I don't know. Hell, I barely remember his last game as a 49er, and when was that? 1979 or something? Forget his days at USC or with Buffalo; I only know those from old NFL tapes.

What I'm saying is on the "inside" folks may see him as just another pompous hood, and with that make the glove fit...

varmint 10-03-2008 11:22 PM

o.j. killed his wife. and then raped the legal system. can you think of anyone a bunch of convicts would admire more?

TerryH 10-03-2008 11:24 PM

If someone gave me decent odds, I'd bet he hangs himself if and when his appeals run out. Great watching him squirm. He knew what was coming.

The irony of it being the same day as his murder acquittal was extra sweet.

I've seen enough of those prison specials the networks like to run to come away with two facts: prisoners don't tolerate 1) Those who kill women and 2) Those who kill children.

Plus, there's the bragging rights of "I shanked the Juice..."

In short, OJ may be as good as dead the minute they lock him in.

tabs 10-03-2008 11:46 PM

There is a prison up near Reno, NV....that is maximum security.

The prison that is out by Nellis is a women's facility.

There is one on the 15 out in Jean...where Singpilot has a hang out. Maybe Sing will orchestrate a break out and fly OJ to Orange County for another freeway chase...well mexico anyway.

tabs 10-03-2008 11:48 PM

OJ will be buying protection on the inside..cigarettes and candy....maybe autographs to sell on the bay, I just know everyone here will be buyin one.

tabs 10-03-2008 11:49 PM

Buy th eway I knew that this state was gona put him away, this is a no mess around state unlike CA...where you can get away with murder.

I guess OJ is done playin golf...maybe the Warden will let him be a Caddy at the prison course.

Rick Lee 10-03-2008 11:57 PM

Too bad OJ didn't get busted here in Maricopa County. Sherriff Joe would have had a lot of fun with him.

widgeon13 10-04-2008 04:20 AM

What goes around, comes around!

It's taken 14 years but the SOB will get some of what he deserves!

onewhippedpuppy 10-04-2008 04:42 AM

Good riddance OJ, have fun in hell. Karma is a *****.

so much for yer golf game OJ...............breaks my ******* heart.

as mentioned..................******* FINALLY!

rouxroux 10-04-2008 06:23 AM

I can see it now: "O.J. Soap-on-a-rope" to keep your "backfield" clean in the "pokey".

...He's going to wish he was a tight end instead of a wide receiver soon.:)

widgeon13 10-04-2008 06:24 AM

He doesn't have the balls to take his own life, he's a coward!

jriera 10-04-2008 06:30 AM

My guess is that will be either Ely State, High Desert in Indian Springs or Lovelock.

Ely is a maximum security (and death row) prison.

That's why I need odds, hanging is a little bit of a stretch. (pun intended) He had a gun to his head during the infamous Bronco chase. Too bad it didn't have a hair trigger.

Suicide has long been considered the cowards way out. Likely not true in every case, but has that connotation.

I'm not sure, they have a convoluted system of right and wrong.Somebody there is going to be a whole lot bigger and badder than him and needing to prove it. He's going to be one of the older inmates too. This is seriously going to cut into the amount of time that he can spend searching for his wife's true killer(s)! Good riddance! He said during the robbery:"Don't let nobody out of this room," I guess that he didn't take any English classes while at SC!

Porsche-O-Phile 10-04-2008 07:50 AM

Leave it to Nevada to clean up California's mess. Bravo Clark County!

mattdavis11 10-04-2008 08:08 AM

Is there anyway he can be extradited here on further charges? You guys and your states, just ******* around.....

LakeCleElum 10-04-2008 08:11 AM

Well, he was denied bail pending sentencing. His attorneys will appeal, I hope bail is denied pending an appeal. If out on bail, he will BAIL. We saw that in the car chase with the white Bronco.

speeder 10-04-2008 10:19 AM

I'm glad that he got convicted, but there is no way that he is going to have a tough time in the joint. Some of the comments here reflect a pretty complete lack of awareness of prison sociology.

Anyone who is a celeb or famous is a big-shot in prison, period. Prison is the loneliest, most boring place on earth and it's filled with nobodies. A minor sports figure would be a huge deal in most prisons, OJ was a superstar. And a Hollywood actor who lived the high-life and was rich and famous. Lastly, in his prime he would have been the toughest guy in most prisons. He was probably the toughest guy in the NFL when he played. You guys think that a 61 y.o. guy who is tougher than a $2 steak is going to be an object of desire for sex-starved young inmates? Or that anyone could rape him if they wanted?

He will be a huge celeb in the joint. He started out life as a thug, (in a gang as a child), he is still a thug and will do just fine in prison. The boredom might kill him, though. Let's hope.

Wickd89 10-04-2008 10:24 AM

Justice is done.
Funny how bad people eventually get theres....

Rick Lee 10-04-2008 10:46 AM

And exactly 13 yrs. from the day he was acquitted in LA. Such poetic justice.

126coupe 10-04-2008 11:55 AM

Happy days are here again, the sky.............bla bla cant remember the lyricshttp://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1223146491.jpg

Porsche-O-Phile 10-04-2008 02:07 PM

That's what he gets for not getting a black legal team...

widgeon13 10-04-2008 02:20 PM

I think he needed a jury of his bro's to get out of this one.

Don Plumley 10-04-2008 02:23 PM

OJ:

What Happens in Vegas...

...Stays in Vegas.

Just wishful thinking, he's still a POS, probably pretty fat and tired as well!

speeder 10-04-2008 02:28 PM

I'm telling ya, he'll be a major big-shot in prison. It's a twisted status system.

Who's going to catch the the real killers now?:D

Normy 10-04-2008 06:31 PM

Finally, justice is served!

-Anyone want to start a fund to buy him a "soap on a rope"? I suppose it is actually a moot point, since he's going to spend the rest of his life in prison anyway....

N!

Zef 10-05-2008 04:55 AM
