Return on Beer Investment...

Viral but funny...

Quote:
If you purchased $1,000 of Delta Airlines stock 1 year ago, you would have $49.00 today.

If you purchased $1,000 of AIG stock one year ago, you would have $33.00 today.

If you purchased $1,000 of Lehman Brothers stock 1 year ago, you would have $0.00 today.

If you purchased $1,000 of Wachovia stock 1 year ago, you would have $35.79 today.

But, if you purchased $1,000 worth of beer 1 year ago, drank all the beer, returned the aluminum cans for a recycling refund, you would have $214.00.

Based on the above, the best current investment plan is to drink heavily & recycle.

It is called the 401-Keg.

$1000 of cheap beer buys maybe 1000 cans? If aluminum cans were worth $.21 each I'd quit my job and collect them for a living. Wait....if the market keep going like this I may be doing that anyway

Edit - OK, more than 1000 cans. But still.

What kind of beer are you drinking?

$1000.00 will buy you almost ~2000 cans of Schmitt's (animal beer)

Case of Bud Light = $16 / 20 cans (or 0.80/can), $1000 buys 1250 cans. At $0.05/can (unless your in MI where it is $0.10/can) = $62.50 (or $125.00 in MI).

My liquid investments are still looking OK - plus with the buzz I get it makes everything okiee dokiee.
