SCORE!!! Found this little baby!

ARCO AM/PM parking lot. It's got a sterling silver case and made by Tiffany & Co. Lists for $215 plus tax, S/H. Even has the toothpick and tweezers, which I think I'll sanitize.

Awesome. I found an original Bowie knife once- one of the old ones- pretty cool.

I found $110 in the denver airport once. First I found a $100 dollar bill stuck to an a/c intake vent. After lunch, I found a ten-spot in the exact same place.

You might be able to make a decent living hanging at that A/C vent!

I got that same Tiffany's knife for my 21st b-day, which I celebrated in Germany and on which I actually outran the cops in a footchase. Anyway, my knife has my initials on it, so that one's not mine.

It belongs to someone. Would it not be the right thing to do to leave a note with your contact with the store just in case the owner goes back looking for it?

Oh well...rest assured I won't be one of those dudes who returns the $1.2m that falls off the back of an armored car.

I found a tanto bladed Benchmade on one of the Apostle Islands back in 2000. I was barefoot on the beach pulling in the kayak and almost stepped on it blade first. I would have been pissed. Its a sweet knife.

i lost a victorinox version a while back. those are the best tweezers in the world. you can pull out even the most invisible of splinters.

i should go and get another set. so tiny, so easy to lose.

Yes, same guts as the $18 ones you buy with plastic sides. This thing is heavy and the sterling silver is probably 3/16th" thick.

If I find something that doesn't belong to me, it doesn't belong to me.
Keeping it is no different than stealing it IMO.

So you're suggesting that I post a sign at the AM/PM in West Covina, which is no where near where I live or work? How about if I gave it to the kid behind the counter and asked him to put up a sign and see if anyone claims it? Would that work?

I did that with a wallet full of money and credit cards. Found it in the parking lot of a TacoBell, took it inside, gave it to the counter girl and told her to hold it until someone can to claim it.

I'm quite sure that they did not even so much as open that wallet as soon as I walked out the door.
