No doubt Mr. Snuggles put him up to it.

yep winston was a star MAGNA CUM LAUDE graduate of "MR SNUGGLES" school for wayward retard dawgs.

actually winston here is showing the world what "MR. SNUGGLES" taught him one ill fated friday night when the "clown non attorney" crap was pegging the fun meter!

what he is doing is attempting to halt the "OMAR SHARRIFF" from leaving the crime scene without SERVING the "CLOWN NON ATTORNEY" the legal R.O.(restraining order) documents. if you remember the rookie "OMAR" refused to serve the R.O. papers to said "CLOWN NON ATTORNEY"

see winston knows that the "OMAR" is a lazy cop who didnt want to get involved, despite the fact, the "hottie judge" specifically stated and i quote " should you (ODDJOB UNO) need to call the po-po's on this guy before the process server serves these papers, tell the responding officer to serve them right there and then or we will have words!"

winston gets an "A+" for his efforts and a signed "RATTA BOY" document from "professor snuggles" winstons mentor and spiritual guru and advisor!

i firmly believe winston should get his belly rubbed for (1) month straight and a lifetime supply of "snausages" for his heroic efforts while trying to correct this "OMARS" obvious attempt at being LAZY and leaving the scene on his way to the donut shop.

YAY -

Winston is free and going home on probation, happy waggy tails to all. As the cop was running radar, maybe Winston needs a V1 detector!

Winston The Bulldog Is Going Home
Owner Will Make Sure Dog Who Attacked Patrol Car Doesn't Get Out Again
posted March 25, 2010

Winston the Bulldog who attacked a city patrol car is going home.

A deal was worked out in City Court on Thursday morning in which the Emerling family will keep Winston at their Mann Welding Company on Workman Road near Rossville Boulevard.

Michael Emerling said, "We'll make sure that Winston doesn't get out. We will use a chain on the fence rather than a nylon cord."

The case in which McKamey Animal Trust had asked that Winston be declared a potentially dangerous dog was passed for six months on Winston's "good behavior."

But the case will be treated as if he had been declared a potentially dangerous dog. The owners will have to take Winston through two obedience classes.

The family was set to pick up Winston this afternoon.

Karen Walsh, McKamey Center executive director, said she was glad the case has this resolution and that the owners had taken responsibility for Winston.

She said, "Winston was reserved when he first got to the center. But he has settled down and been playing around."

Judge Sherry Paty cautioned the Emerlings that there cannot be a repeat incident like the one that gained worldwide publicity.

She said it would have been devastating had the attack been on a person - especially a child.

The judge said, "I don't even want the remote possibility of that happening."

In the incident, an officer was running radar on Workman Road when Winston charged out through the gate and began shaking the patrol car. Winston munched on the tires and ate the front bumper.

He also attacked other patrol cars that were called in as backup.

Officers tried to pepper spray Winston, then to tase him, but nothing calmed him down.

Michael Emerling said the family is grateful that the officers did not shoot Winston. He said, "In other areas near here, police have shot dogs for much less."

Mr. Emerling said Winston showed up as a stray at the welding business when he was about two months old in October 2008.

He said he had never showed such aggressiveness. He said, "We had no idea. If we had, we would have taken steps to make sure he could not have gotten out."

Sweet, another view of Winston eating the cop car bumper.

that does was on a mission, after the bumper, looks like he was going for the right rear tire.

go Winston Go!

I'm going to send Winston a box of doggy biscuits!

Serious.

Need to find the owners address off the web, Michael or Nancy Emerling, (anyone help dig their address up?) or we could maybe send them via the "jail house" where Winstone has been a model prisoner.

More Press:

Sure, rowdy dogs chew up furniture all the time. But cars? It still sounds absurd to the owner of a pit bull mix who did exactly that.

"I didn't think there would actually be bumpers missing from the car," Michael Emerling said with a smile and slight air of disbelief as he discussed his dog Winston, who's been held for the last two weeks at the McKamey Animal Center.

On March 14, Winston left four cars -- two of them Chattanooga police patrol vehicles -- with flat tires and at least one missing bumper because of his aggression.

Mr. Emerling and his mother, Nancy Emerling, said they planned to take Winston home Thursday after a court hearing and felt lucky that he'd have a chance to go through court-ordered obedience training.

Chattanooga City Judge Sherry Paty said she will drop the citation for Winston being a "potentially dangerous dog" after six months if training is successful and no other problems occur.

Winston has been a "model prisoner" at McKamey, their lawyer said.

"Actually, he'd been a model pet up until that Sunday," Mr. Emerling noted, still baffled by Winston's actions.

So what made Winston go wild, chewing through two fences to break free and forcing police officers to try to subdue him with pepper spray and, when that didn't work, a Taser?

Contributed File Photo
Winston, who attacked a police car and other vehicles, now must go to obedience school.

No one is exactly sure, but Ms. Emerling said it could have been the blue lights of a police car in the parking lot next to Mann's Welding Co. on Workman Road where the attack began.

Whatever it was, attorney Jim Anderson said, it made Winston tear out of captivity like a "prisoner in a World War II German death camp."

"The obedience training is going to be more like anger management," Mr. Anderson joked.

I've done some digging (doggy joke there) and think the owner Michael Emmerling works here:

going to call them in the morning.

Who else wants to send Winston a "good boy" doggy treat!

I'm going to call them in the morning...........

Anyone who has ever owned a dog will recognize poor ol' Winston's behavior as nothing more than play. In his mind, he was in the ultimate game of tug'o'war - no more, no less. Not a hint of evil intent whatsoever. If either the cop in the film car or in the victim car had any sense about dogs whatsoever, they would have simply gotten out and given him a stern "no". Notice Winston didn't even get aggressive with the other dog that wanted a piece of his prize.
