Don't laugh. Friend of mine started an accredited school to train the deaf in computers.

Got sued for discrimination by a handicapped advocacy group, he was discriminating against the handicapped because the school was only for deaf people.

Here in Silver Lake, we had a place called Doggie Style. I went in there asking for... they threw me out and said, this is a dog salon.

You beat me to it. I avoid places that intentionally do this....

One I saw in FL, apparently a chain.

We have a place in Lexington called "Big Ass Fans." I kinda like the name, obvious what they are selling:) Mascot is....a donkey.

Anything with the letter "N" in it...

"Smart N Up Wallcoverings" is one I can think of.

I can't stand any business that has forced a non-sensical jingle upon me:
"lookie lookie lookie, there goes cookie....Cooke Pest Control"

Or

"For all your carpet cleaning needs, just one call to Joe Hadeed....
(big finish) if you stand on it, we stand behind it"

grrr.

We've got a Dick's Sporting Goods here. My wife and 12 yo daughter were going there to look for something. I said why don't you call first. My daughter was on her computer and says, I'll just Google "Dick's" to get the number. My wife yells out to her, "No you don't!!!!"

I've eaten at a restaurant in upstate NY called "Squat and Gobble". Nothing but the finest cuisine with a name like that.
