Business Names That Bug Me
Any business with the word "Innovations" or "Concepts" in their title...or restaurants/clubs that use their street address (e.g. "Club 109", Salon 1333, etc.).
C'mon...have an original thought, folks. |
There is a new club in my town "Three 31", it opened March 31st...

Any business that once made tangible goods in a factory but now offer "solutions".

Along those lines, any car biz (sales, service, etc.) with the name "Euro" in it.

"Initials" names...I can't remember them. Gee, was that J&J cleaners or C&S cleaners...M&R or M&L???
John Walker did well...his biz name explains it, and full names are much easier to remember. |

There's a slew of companies that appear to have created strange "blended" names simply to get a relatively short and original name.
It started before the Net with names like Accura (Accurate + ?) and Lexus (Luxury Nexus?). Now we have Accenture, Innova and Firedog and many other oddities that look they were made solely to get their own domain name. |

And how about those annoying liberties they take with spelling? Kwik Wash, Kar Partz. WTF? How hard is it to just spell it correctly, if for no other reason, then to just make it easier to look up in the phone book or online?
