More Bird Sheet
Anyone familiar with what is known as the Tibetian Sky Burial? Apparently this is a long held tradition in certain mountainous areas of Tibet where the ground is simply too hard and rocky to actually bury their dead. It is seen as an honorable thing to do, as it scatters one's remains accross the land. A bit unorthodox, maybe even bordering on repulsive to us Westerners, but it does have a certain beauty to it. Once you get past the fact that they are feeding their dead to large vultures...

Now when I die
Now don't think I'm a nut Don't want no fancy funeral Just one like ol' King Tut I saw a Discovery Channel program about this. It is repulsive. Sky burial Apparently, if you're Buddhist, the body is an empty vessel after you die, so there's no sanctity associated with it. The monks perform the actual dissasembly. Don't envy their job. Different strokes...
