So Cal - Targa Trophy?
 

Happened to see a few 997TT and the like heading up to Santa Barbara. They all had this "Targa Trophy" pasted on them. A quick Google search pulled up this.

An excuse for tosspots to put numbers on their cars. This is pretty funny.

Targa Trophy, an unprecedented road rally featuring exceptional luxury automotive vehicles, cutting edge event venues and a diverse demographic of affluent individuals rolls into Los Angeles on Saturday October 25, 2008 for its second Southern California appearance.

Produced by Overell Inc, the event was conceived to honor the world's most prestigious road rallies and is distinguished by its emphasis on connoisseurship, excellence and luxury. The green eyed monster rears it's ugly head once again.

They are very nice cars, I love getting to drive them. We had 4 of them in the shop this week and being the onlt Porsche tech (this week due to vacation schedule) I got all of them. Sometimes I do love my job.
