Is that header wrap covering up carbon steel or stainless steel pipes?
Because of the extra insulation and heat involved on the inside, it tends to make carbon steel crack and bet brittle. Ask me how I know.
Ceramic coating is generally preferred for carbon steel.

BTW, you shouldn't talk to yourself.
I don't because I don't like his attitude.
