Cell Hell- Why I hate to upgrade phones
First off, let me say I'm not a geek but consider myself knowledgeable and persistent when it comes to tech stuff.
I have an old Nokia phone, I got it from someone else when my newer Sony Crapped out. The old thing has been working fine, but it's old as the dickens, can't see numbers etc. Worst thing was It was hard to see text messages in certain lighting. So I decided to upgrade because it was cheap to a blackberry. Now, I know you have phone memory and sim memory, and a couple weeks ago I went to transfer the phone numbers to the sim in case I did change phones. New phone comes, I assemble it and pull my old sim card from the Nokia. Try to import numbers, but no luck, nothing there. Don't know why. OK, reassemble old phone and try the routine again, step by step. But I can't get the old phone to turn back on. So I have NO access to all my numbers, some of which I will never recover from if I don't get it back. So I have a new phone with no one to call... I'm going down to the ATT Store for some help, but if I don't get the numbers back it's a huge setback. Why did I want to do this, again? Can I sue for mental anguish? AAAAARRRRGHHHH
