I saw the truck every morning while walking to school in 7th grade in Downey, my first year in California. But it was a GMC or Chevy panel, not the early model you remember. It was 1968, so just about the at the end of the Helm's era.

We are a right hand drive country and a guy with a LHD Camaro drives around with his large dog in the passenger seat. It looks really funny. A dog taking his best mate out for a drive.

My old dog ( I miss her) was half beagle and half Jack russell, looked right at home in my old 86 GTI. They were both dogs.
