Unbelievable! Man Finds Out His Rust Bucket is Worth $226,000!
Had to repost this one from LS1Tech forum, enjoy:
Background - Guy lists what he believes is an old Pontiac in need of some serious work, no engine, no transmission, lots of rust. The sellers lists the car for a fair $500 and within days the bidding has exploded to over $20,000! Unbeknownst to the seller, he listed an incredibly rare factory racer known as the Super Duty Pontiac Tempest of which only six models were ever produced! Reports of the extremely rare car surface on Internet forums and even Jay Leno takes a stab at the bidding ultimately driving the final bid over $226,000! An unbelievable story for a legendary car, what a lucky guy! |
