Internet Explorer error message

Don't tell me to go with Firefox or a Mac, or I'll hunt ya down and fart in your general direction and taunt you like an English Pig Dog....just tell me if you have run into this message and know a solution......

I'm running IE 8 Beta 2 on Windows XP.








Stoopid fargin thing won't even let me do a screen shot....had to pic a digital pic....

The message is telling you that it can't read from a portion of your RAM. Download MemTest, boot into Safe Mode and let MemTest run to about 300% coverage.

Also, IE8 has been postponed until sometime in (late?) 2009, which IMO signals some sort of problem, and probably not a small one. I'd stick with either IE7, or FireFox (yea yea) running IETab, which lets you open web pages using the IE rendering engine.

I used the last string of numbers with "referenced memory" before them.

Also the last string changes each time the error message comes up.

I don't get any hits when I use those search terms.

The reason the number (the octel memory address) is changing each time is because RAM is Random access; IE isn't always writing to the same spot in RAM.

IE7, FireFox, and Safari aren't going to fix the problem if it is what I think it, which is bad RAM. If you haven't already tested your memory, you should.
