That type of tire has been on the web in pictures and videos for years. It seems like they may have finally found a decent use for them.

I wonder how they are offroad? I suppose they would add sidewalls to keep the mud out.

Was part of the purpose of the air pressure system on the Humvees to be able to adjust tire pressure from inside the vehicle?

I think this is finally a good application for this technology.

I didn't think using this in race cars or road cars (where you might want to be able to adjust tire pressure) was a good application.
