Someone think of the chimney's!

Damn the chimneys! Last time I dealt with one (it was a very cold night and I was trying light a fire) I was groping around in all the soot trying to find the damper and got the flue.

A Mason owned business in town did some work for us, I didn't feel we received any break.
I think if I had joined in my 20's I would have been in a position to take advantage of having lodge brothers. By the time I joined I had things pretty well under control.
At present it's mostly a bunch of old guys meeting twice/month, I rarely attend. I'm sure the membership has been declining lately, supposedly when times are tough the membership increases. We shall see.

Ya my father doesnt attend much anymore either. He goes when his bro in law calls and says that there will be important shtuff goin on. I know that several of the local lodges will give matching funds to different organizations. My scout troop gets about 1k a year from the local lodge. I will probably join once I am out of college. Cant hurt when I am applying for jobs.
