That's a very good guess.

Jim Richards 12-04-2008 03:25 PM

If it doesn't fit, you must acquit! Oh wait, we're beyond that, huh? OJ's gonna be the dike in a prison full of little Dutch boys.

Porsche-O-Phile 12-04-2008 03:30 PM

I'm goin' for the win - we've got an office pool going on it...

I would very much not want to be OJ simpson right about now. He could very well end up with the max sentences on all counts, as payback for earlier transgressions.

What a maroon.

6 ..

The fact he was not released on bail pending sentencing sure cut down on the abuse of white Bronco's in the Vegas area........

Fortunately, the US legal system does not allow him to be sentenced based on "transgressions" that he was found not guilty of.

I don't care, well I do.

But I hope that we don't get riots!

Getting started early, huh? The LA Times says the judge is a tough one on sentences. I wonder what the dickweed is thinking today. I wonder what Ron's father and Nichole's sister are thinking today.

They were interviewed this morning on Today.

They whined a lot, and want to see OJ die in prison.

They too seem to forget that he cannot be sentenced for some murders that he was acquitted of. Lots of people seem to be forgetting that.

The judge has denied all smokescreens.

Here it comes...

Technically, that is correct...but we both know the world is not that black and white.

Actually, it does.

I didn't use green text, it makes it too obvious ;)

There are two pillars of the US judicial system that are most important:
1) You are innocent until proven guilty.
2) Once you have put in your sentenced time, you are considered a free and innocent man again.

Both of these are being trampled on an increasingly common basis lately, both by the legal system and by the general public.

But, we don't forget that he was convicted in the civil trial. It was a fluke that he got off in the criminal trial. That and the bumbling prosecutors. So, today OJ gets some payback even if some say it's not correct to think of the past. I think it is.
