I realize it's just a tree but it was still HIS.

Stealing it was wrong.

Huh? Sure, there are the jokes, Why not? But no one here that I know of thinks this is "justified." Of course it's wrong. It's as if they stole his bike off the porch, or his umbrella. Anything.

Jokes aside, I bet it's in one of your neighbor's apartments.

Bill Douglas 12-05-2008 09:04 AM

THAT was your apartment.

Please see earlier chainsaw thread.

I'm from South Florida, Tampa/St Pete Metro. Yes, at one point, I remember riding down a street lined with palms with my grandparents and asking them about the chains that were around many of the trees. Apparently they were chaining the trees down to try to keep them from being stolen.

Very funny Jim...;)

...my all time favorite comic book character.

I was asking due to the fact I have a son named Calvin; was curious if Nostatic had a son with the same unique name...

Here's a cute picture of my son Calvin from a few years ago...

So...is this the tree?? Start a "Return Tree to Rightful Owner to Reclaim Proper Feng Shui Fund" and I'll chip in a few bucks.

scottmandue 12-05-2008 11:48 AM

I just checked my tree and it is actually a cactus, my mistake I'm dyslexic.

Please disregard my previous post.

Anyone missing a cactus?

Just turned 12 in Nov. I have some pics (analog) from him in his high chair days. That seems like so long ago...

Actually my upstairs neighbor had one of their potted plants stolen last year. So it is a serial plant thief. But a very lazy one...

Jim Richards 12-05-2008 11:53 AM

I'm not lazy!!! I just move slow.

No lojack on your tree?

Pfft, you should know better living in the big mean old city.

Did you call the police? Maybe they could go all CSI on the crime scene.
