BBC has a show about a couple of old birds that go to places like this in the UK. Incredible how some people live. More of a mental illness than anything in my opinion.

Not so! I went biking a month ago with a super skinny guy, and while it wasn't this bad, his place was horrible! I was disgusted to use the toilet! I don't think he has cleaned in in 2 years!
