Ok You have a mouse in your tree, you have cats, I don't see the problem. The mouse will come out of the tree when you are not scaring it, or the cats will remove the mouse from the tree when you are not looking. Cats are hunters, cats kill things, mice are things cats like to kill. So you have to re-hang a few ornaments or the entire tree, just let your cats do their job. I live in the country and have 4 indoor cats, the life expectancy of a mouse here is about 8 seconds.http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1229865904.jpg

about a 30% chance that the mouse is a pregnant female. gonna be fun if you don't come up with a solution soon

... "miauing".
Cow goes moo
Dog goes bowwow
Cat goes meow

Maybe it was a french cat. :D

Our tradition is bring tree home. Take garden hose and spray it from top to bottom repeatedly. Fresh cut bottom and leave outside overnight in bucket of water. That hopefully removes bugs, loose needles, and vermin.

I would get control of mouse now. He may take up residence and begin a family.

Surveillance photos of mouse. Enjoying bait that was supposed to lure him into jar.

Mouse was safe as long as remained high in tree. But he chose to make run for it.

Found corpse in living room floor this AM. Multiple puncture wounds, appears to have be tortured to death.

I hope your cat tried to make him talk first.

Rick, that was a Berkley cat,, you know waterboarding is illegal there.. If I were that cat I'd be lawyering up,, he could be in big trouble!!!

Ya had to know the cat would get em. Cats love to torture.

Cats like to 'catch and release'... Repeat until death.

You guys who said grab the mouse maybe have never actually done that. A field mouse is pretty fast. I was trying to grab a baby rat in a tree once. That sucker fell to the ground and ran up my pant leg.
You talk about some kind of funny dance....

I have to say, it's adorable in that picture. I would have liked to have seen it safely outside, but such is not always the case.

It's lucky it lasted that long with cats in the house!
