I now ride on an Aluminum 54 Giant bike. But I see that Giant use now the small-medium-medium large-large and extra large size in lieu of actual inches size....I will go to the bike shop (on a roller) to check which size match the 54....

TCRs are excellent bikes. Very, very stiff if you can stand stiffness. And extremely fast in almost every aspect of cycling. The Ultegra makes it all the more better. Question is, what type of Ultegra does the bike have? Ultegra or Ultegra SL?

That's good. Ultegra SL is supposed to be a bit lighter, but I'm not sure it performs any better than regular Ultegra...at least to merit the increase in price the SL commands over the regular Ultegra.
