Today I am 58 years old. I honestly didn't think I would make it this far. I'm hangin' in there with Keith Richards.

Actually my 50's have been great. You wake up one day and just don't care what anyone thinks. I think I'll wear mismatched plaids today. Or maybe black sox and sandals.

Happy Bday! Keep hanging in there. I'm only a couple years behind ya. The other day I sneezed and think I separated a muscle on my left ribcage. Agony since, but it's finally feeling a little better this morning. Now I'm afraid to cough, sneeze, fart, or have any fun at all.

Happy B-day. I don't think you cheated death by living to age 58, but I don't know your past. If just living were the criterion, with all the crap that I've been exposed to, I've cheated death 5 more years than you.
However, if you've really cheated death, you shiver each time you think about it. With about 3 occasions, I shiver visibly. One day I won't be so lucky. |
