Check out Cindy Cashdollar as well. She's my all-time favorite female steel player. Check out her videos on YouTube, and particularly her work with Asleep at the Wheel.

i met cindy backstage at the backstage bar and grille in ballard years ago, along with the rest of asleep at the wheel. i was hanging with baby gramps at the time. in fact it was the day after garcia died and i wasn't in a great mood, but decided that the show must go on. very talented lady, and foxy too. no solos on youtube, but several with other musicians. i have one of her instructional videos for steel.

Rare steel
Here is pic of extremely rare one I bought from a collector a couple of years ago. There are only 5 know to exist and this is the finest of them. Mint condition with original fingerpicks, slide, cord and case. It is a Danelectro from the late 50's.
Will trade for nice Porsche
