Who likes Honda Elsinores? And lives in CO?

I know there's some of you guys in here.

Here's a '76 MT250. Everything's there, except the little banjo bolt that injects the oil into the manifold, NLA. Make your own, or pre-mix your gas and you're good to go. (figuratively, of course.) Also the run/stop/run switch needs some attention.

Come get it! I don't want to buy a cover for it and there's no room in the garage, and I thought I would have the desire to get into it, and I don't.

That's right, come get it. Colorado guys?

If you wanna be nice, trade me for a little help getting the 2.4 out of my Targa.

I had that exact same bike for years. If I didn't know better, I'd say it was mine, although I think mine was a '73. Mine was indestructible. Seriously. Left it sitting for months - still started. Submerged it completely in mud - still started. The coldest, snowiest day of the year - still started. Dropped it in a stream and had to drag it out by the tire - still started.

Sorry I'm in the wrong time zone, but good luck with the sale.

Me too! That thing was bulletproof. I raced with it then trashed it repeatedly in the Sierras. I couldn't kill it. I tried.

My first bike was a 77 Elsinore 125. First engine rebuild too. Lot of fun on those.

I had a 125 and a 250 at one point. Great bikes - wish you were closer.

I guess they're really brittle and the head snaps off a lot. I went to 3 yards and couldn't find one.

You're a PUNNY guy, though!

Oh yeah and I forgot to mention that this bike is known to have been ridden by Todd Park Mohr of Big Head Todd and the Monsters. Didn't want to start a frenzy, you know.

Please congratulate the proud new owner of this 1975 (whoops) Honda MT-250, BSiple!!!!! He's hoping to give it a nice little rehab and promptly hand it over to Mrs. Siple. That's badass.

I love this place.

I also had a good time meeting you and picking it. It sucked it was raining, as I think we could have bs'd more.

It is definitely low enough for the Mrs. to sit on, and I already started making a list of things to get....

Thanks again!

Bill
