I don't get it... It's not like you could use that under your car...

I don't know, I think it's kind of cool in a gritty retro kind of way. Maybe use under another car or when your Porsche is up on jackstands? Probably pretty heavy though. Nice thought for a car person.

I was totally wow'ed when I saw it! He knew I'd had a garage-themed Christmas, and he's going to be helping me work on my car (starting this Saturday or so is the plan). Great guy to be so thoughtful! Not to mention the cool factor with it being, from appearances, a vintage creeper.

Like many of you, I love things with some history to them (such as my car!) - the look, and more, the idea that they have been in use for many years and are still totally useful today. Imagine all the sweaty heads that have lain on that cushion! Hahaha! OK maybe not but you know what I mean.

I got a decent Craftsman floor jack for Christmas. When I called to thank him just now he said he's just finished moving and may have some other stuff to bring me this weekend that he found clearing out his shed - jack stands, etc. Whether or not I use this much or at all with my 911 (we have 2 other cars), I think it's a really neat thing to have for my garage.

I guarantee you that if we didn't have a garage, that thing would be hanging on the wall of our den.

Patience, my friend! If our Saturday plans come together, we'll be jacking the car up to work on my rear brakes. I've always wanted a tour of what's what under the car, so if the stars line up right, I'll get a look under the car then - perhaps modeling my new creeper I'll do my best to document it in photos, and since I'm a photo/video ho, you know I'll be back here with some pics.

Ha! Uh, no. I just thought it made a much more interesting (and Pelican-appropriate) background than the garage wall.
