			Mechanics have no degree? All independent shop mechanics I know personally have an ASA or some other mechanic school degree. All dealership mechanics I know go through a lot of training / schooling as well, to get beyond the oil change / brake job level. Is being a mechanic a "great job"? While it is an honest living, I would not say it is a "great job". It pays pretty well if you are at a dealership, but it is hard work that requires a lot of skill. I know not a single mechanic that has decent time off and does not have to work Saturdays. The only way I can see it be a "great job" is if you are in business for yourself. Just my two cents. That lady looks like she has never touched a wrench, but maybe they just cleaned her up for the pic.  ... George | ||
