That would be great. Our governer(Ed Rendell- a HUUUUUGE Eagles fan- he even does the Eagles post game show every week) would be besides himself with glee. :)

I feel your pain bro, the Eagles have fallen short many, many times too in the past. Enjoy last year's Giants SB trophy, it was well earned, and should keep you warm in the chill of post giants playoff football quite nicely. :)

Yes, Ravens-Titans.

Those numbers i listed are extremely relevant IMO.

Defense wins championships, afterall- or so the saying goes.

Steelers #1 defense
Ravens #2
Eagles #3
Cardinals #19

That statistic screams out "Bet the Iggles". Apparently vegas is listening. AFAIK, the Eagles are the first road favorite in post Merger NFC Championship game history. A 3pt road favorite in the NFL Semi-final round. Who'd have ever thunk it?

I think we all know who's gonna be headed to Didney Wurl this year. :D

The eagles took the steelers apart pretty good during the regular season. That doesn't mean they would again in the SB, but clearly the Eagles- talent wise- are definitely the Steelers peers.

It would come down to execution to determine who would win that game, IMO.

No, the Eagles don't choke until it truly matters - in the Championship game or the Super Bowl.

Who knows, maybe it is the Eagles year. They are certainly playing as an absolute unit, but I think that it's Baltimore's turn this season. Flaco is peaking and their defense is nasty.

I don't know if it will be this week or in the Super Bowl, but Baltimore will lose. They've been playing too long and are too banged up to win it all. They were one play away from losing that game last week.

The floor is yours....

PS: I am sure the Cardinals are thrilled to draw this matchup.

I wanted to start a post on helping the ARIZONA CARDINALS get inspiration for Sundays Championship game. Thank you. The previous and following posts will help feed the teams mental drive to win! Keep it up! :D

The Cardinals football stadium in Glendale AZ is the Loudest
stadium in the league and the roof will be closed. Home field advantage.

Our weakness is Kurt Warner's backup. Matt Leinhart-EX golden (play)boy, Paris Hilton throw away.

Cardinals 27-Eagles 24

The eagles already beat the Vikings in the Metrodome in this playoff run. And to be honest, Giants stadium and it's cold blustery conditions are far more imposing than any dome.

Eagles 30 Cardinals 13.

"PS: I am sure the Cardinals are thrilled to draw this matchup."

Yes, I'm sure they were because they knew they would beat the choke artists !!!

49 years and counting - No Championships - No Super Bowl - No nothing !!!

Here's a toast to the quarterback that doesn't know the OT rules and his Fat bastard coach who can't win the big game. Just cracked open a nice bottle of Pinot....hehehe!

Good bye !!! Enjoy the off-season !!! All PA Super Bowl - yeah, ok...!

equality72521 01-18-2009 02:22 PM

Eagles lose, hahahahahahahahaha screw you mcnabb!

Drew001 01-18-2009 02:23 PM

Nice try Eagles, but not enough momentum in the 2nd half to beat the Cardinals.

m21sniper 01-18-2009 02:24 PM

Kevin Curtiss dropped a perfect pass right in his hands on 4th down, that's hardly McNabb's fault. His numbers were brilliant (despite Eagles recievers dropping about 6 passes for almost 100yds)

If anyone choked, it was the Eagles defense, which gave up 32 points and forced no turn overs. Can't do that and expect to win.

TimT 01-18-2009 02:27 PM

Props for Phillies comeback though.. they had Az on its heels in most of the second half... and Kurt Warner should get a poker face instead of his " world is coming to an end face" lol

To bad they came up short

It was a very exciting game to watch....

now I'll change the channel, and hope for some more good entertainment...

m21sniper 01-18-2009 02:30 PM

LOL, yep. Great game, eagles came up just short. McNabb was fantastic, the defense was anything but...

Good luck cards!
