Long time lurker... LAID OFF!

My wife just got laid off this morning. It wouldn't be so bad except that she left a job to go back to this place that had reluctantly laid her off in the past but really wanted to get her back.

I'm not sure she'd be willing to go back for a third time...

I wouldn't spend anytime worrying about the economy or job markets, worry does no one any good and focusing on what you don't want or the negative doesn't either. Take a full day, do your favorite things throughout the day, maybe read a good book that makes you feel good. Then throughout the day jot down your notes on paper about what you want your new job/career to be like. Plan it out as much as you can.

Then once you've figured out what you want, go out and get it. Believe it or not, most people do not do this. They have no clue what they want. They have no plan. (over 95%)

Life has a way of taking the low points and using them as fuel that propels us to some of our greatest achievements. Make up your mind that this is what's gonna happen to you.... stay happy and positive, your destiny will be fulfilled.
