Chandler, AZ good eats??

I'm flying into PHX Thu night with a coworker, will be working in Chandler Fri and Sat leaving Sun. I'm not sure what our schedule will be (probably really busy), so it'd be nice if we knew of a couple of places nearby to eat dinner that are decent (besides the usual Chilis, etc...) So is there anything interesting and tasty nearby (we'll be on 101 between 60 and 202) that's different? Thanks all

If you like Mexican, one of the best is right around there. It's called Los Dos Molinos. 260 S Alma School Rd # 137 Mesa, AZ 85210 (480) 969-7475 losdosmolinosaz.com

Los Dos Molinas!!! Back whenever the P2 was in pre-production, I flew into Chandler for a meeting with Big I. On the plane, a local suggested the same so I went there with my CEO and CFO. When we arrived, the waiter said "we have two flavors: Hot and Hotter." Yikes! My meal was REALLY hot and I like spicy food. Only large amounts of beer saved me. Would I go back. Absolutely. Would I take my wife? No, too hot! Have fun. LDM is one of my favorite food memories. Larry

Thanks. I like a bit of heat in my food. My buddy really loves spicy. We'll definitely give it a go. What about other stuff, maybe sushi? Anything else?

Hahah, I'm pretty sure there's not any place in AZ that sells dog or "spiced rabbit head" (not legally anyway). Though, I wouldn't be surprised by anything found in Mexican food.

There are tons of places off of Chandler Blvd and in/around the Chandler Fashion Center (mall). For Mexican, there is also Abuelo's and El Zocalo (nice outdoor patio) right off the 101 and Chandler Blvd. There is also Valle Luna off of Ray Rd a bit to the East. For traditional/American there is Famous Daves (decent BBQ), Firebirds Grill, and BJ's. The Rock Bottom also has great food/beer, but is a bit to the West (off the I-10). For good Chinese (at least more authetic then most), C-Fu is excellent for lunch (Dim Sum) and dinner. For Sushi, I'd probably hit Sushi Eye, or Sekai in Mesa if not too far away. Great, now I'm hungry!

Thanks all. Sounds like we've got some good options. I'll report back next week where we ate and what we thought.

I will never go to Pizza Bianco's. The wait is just insane and there are plenty of other good pizza joints with no wait. Try Grimaldi's in DC Ranch. SUPER stuff and that's coming from a pizza snob who grew up on NJ/NY pizza. NYPD in Scottsdale is pretty good pizza too.
