Where's a good pl ace to buy a used Audi 1.8T engine in the southeast?
My son's 1999 Audi A4 1.8T engine is toast!! Apparently the gasket sealing the oil filter unit during Atlanta's first cold spell failed and out poured the oil. He drove it too long not realizing how much oil was lost so the bearings and crank shaft are shot. He owe's on the car so he cannot junk it, besides the body and other mechanicals are excellent.
I am looking for a place preferably in the southeast that is an Audi dismantler or may have used Audi 1.8T engines. Any ideas? Thanks Bob |

How much do you want to pay? We are selling my wife's 97. There is nothing wrong with the car, it just that we have a new mini van for her and the kids now. Let me know it you are interested. I'll let it go for cheap and the car is in real good shape.

You'd have to tell me. I cannot use the chasis only the engine and it would need to be shipped to Atlanta. Unless you want the entire car to go cheap! How many miles on the engine? |

It has a little over 150k on it. Its a A4 quattro tubro. The interior and exterior of the car is in damn great shape. No one rides in it. Its been sitting for the past 2-3 years in my parents and they want it our of there. I am asking $3000.00. You sure you don't need another car?
