looks okay too me. |
15 minutes (30 minutes total) sounds like light-speed compared to the San Diego area DMV offices. Do they speak English in the Napa DMV?
|
The New Hampshire DMV offices I've been to have been great. Years ago I tried to get a vanity license plate that said "BITE ME" and the older lady behind the counter (sweetly) told me: "Oh honey, they're not going to let you have that one."

The staff did, but as for the people all around me in line, I'm not so sure. KT |
Yeah, 30 minutes wasn't a real big deal.
It just seemed like a set-up for 'candid camera' or some other comedy. If I were a hot head, I could've seen getting escorted out or worse. KT |

I'm all for the AAA membership. But it's no utopia inside those doors, either. Getting my bike title transferred from out-of-state to California registration was a minor nightmare due to laziness and bureaucracy. Still, I'd rather take my chances at AAA, where the people realize they're supposed to be on my side, than the DMV. |
I went to the Newhall (Los Angeles) DMV to pay the renewal on the tag for my trailer. They said they couldn't accept it, I had to do it my mail. WTF is the DMV for?
