Online job boards that charge you to look at the open jobs...
I've noticed some online job boards actually ask for a sign-up fee to look at the open positions. I've seen rates range from $8 to $50 to log in and see what jobs are open in any given industry.
As is, with a bit of SEO talent, one can find these same jobs on Monster, Dice, Ladders that are hinted at in the header advertisements on pay-to-play job boards. Still, there just seems something insidious about a site where "you sign up and pay, then we'll (hopefully) show you some open positions that fit your profile and needs." Opinions? ![]()

Dunno man, it seems like every time I have ever looked at one of these companies, all they provide is a condensed look at job postings that you can find by looking around yourself. Unless they are a consulting firm that places direct with a big employer, why would they know anything the average joe doesn't?
Scam.

I agree - rip-off opportunistic jagoffs. Don't bother or waste your time.
I considered signing up for theladders.com but even that one I think is a waste of time & money to be honest.
