I love torrents...

I'm pretty new to the whole digital archive thing (made my first CD rip about 3 years ago, my first DVD rip about a year ago, played with Limewire a bit).

Torrents are amazing. Now, please note, I don't feel that I'm stealing anything...but I'm finding old Japanese TV shows that I watched as a kid that are completely and totally unavailable anywhere, and some crazy guy has them up as a torrent. I'm in bliss!!

Spectraman, Space Giants, Ultraman...
Old ninja movies like Super Ninjas (aka Five Elemental Ninjas), where some guy is fighting while his intestines are hanging out...I mean, come on, that kicks butt.

I'm still hoping to find the original Battle of the Planets, but it doesn't appear to be on there right now

So, what great old things did you come across on there? I'm thinking of grabbing the entire 5 seasons of Moonlighting next...

I use them to catch various DJs' live shows from Satellite radio. I love torrents also

A friend of mine just put this site together. It's all your favorite search engines on one page. www.torrentscout.com

Enjoy!

Was that the one with the blue and red "Firebird" spaceship and the intro sequnce that showed a clip of the part of the Apollo rocket stage seperation?

If it's the one I'm thinking of that was cool!

It was the precursor to Voltron/Power Rangers/etc. 5 people in 5 costumes, with 5 vehicles that were mounted inside the main plane/ship, which could turn into a flaming Phoenix. They fought bad guys. All cartoon, dubbed over.

Phoenix, Yes! not Firebird - right line of thinking though.

That's the one I was thinking of. I don't know how many spacehips like that I made out of Lego.
