Yes, I know what you mean. If a pro f-ball team gets started here, we may as well insert "the California taxpayer" in the list with Circuit City, Comp USA and the others.

In short, who's going to pay for a pro team other than the taxpayers?

As is, the Trojans can probably whoop ass on all three Cali pro f-ball teams, so what's the point?

Dot.com BS companies from the 90's that made nothing, but provided a service that nobody understood.
Hair salons that think they can charge like they are doctors, lawyers or any highly educated professions, ask me how I know, I'm done!
People who bought real estate, that couldn't really afford it, what I mean is no down payment! What did they really lose? Not their down payment.
Madoff Investors.
Anyone who bought Bank stocks, or any stock?

People who built or bought these "white elephant" giant houses, the ones that are over 5000-10,000 square feet. That market has shrunk big timeSmileWavy

kycarguy 935 02-10-2009 09:08 PM

haha Jim. I was going to say Pup n Taco too. We had one across from our high school in Long Beach, Ca.

Bakers Square was always good. I hope Borders don't go. Big Boy was always good. We have Shoney's/Big Boy here in Kentucky and some of them are closing.

I wish HD would come to town. Then we could actually get a straight board or some decent hardware. Our local "Ace" is terrible. The owners are idiots and ran off the good manager they had. Now its a different $8/hr flunkie every week. Honestly some small businesses die because they suck. Plain and simple.

Used to go to the one on Goldenwest and Westminster as a kid. Great memories with my dad, as we were usually doing guy stuff: Motorcycle shop, salvage yard, etc.

I miss Naugles, too. :D

The Tanga in Tampa on the Causeway. Best lap dances in town. They revised the interchage around the airport and took the property to build a exit ramp.
