Congrats.... I managed to get myself on that ship too several years ago. That on top of driving non-financed used cars, makes for relatively stress free sailing.

3 weeks from now no debt whatsoever. July 1st I will be retired with a decent retirement. Thank god I wasn't counting on my 401. And thank god my wife likes her job and plans on working a couple of more years.

One car loan...we call it the prime people mover. We put a lot on miles on the PPM and I always move it down the bench and buy new or used, depending (thanks Whippedpup!) at 5/6 years or 100k. We generally sell the old PPMs at 8 to ten years, except the trucks:cool: Congrats, Jim... |
