S-10s are decent trucks, not as good as a Toyota but nothing is. They are the best-looking small truck ever made, IMO.

3/4 of a V8, not 2/3. That's a good truck IMHO. My friend had a full size truck with that V6 and it held up to a lot of abuse, including extended oil change intervals, towing and a heavy foot.
Personally I only have owned an 85 S10 with the 2.8 V6. Threw a rod at 185k miles (with a long and spotty P.O. history). Fun little truck. George |
