Hlp. Please...Maui or Oáhu
Please, I need some advice,
First time very short travel (4 days Hawaii & 20 days California) Wife + Sons, (M:22 + F: 19 + M:18). The problem is that we asked the travel agent for Hawaii and he sent Us to Maui. I don´t know if claiming him for the change or accepting the actual destination. What should I do, which is the best island to stay at? The travel is planned for July (9 to first days of August). ont he other hand, probably I will have some time for my Porschistic side, so I would like to know your priority choices in this matter. The California section includes Vegas, S.F., S D., L.A. G. Canyon, Yosemite, R-66. Hollywood, ... Some advice on that ? Thanks in advance E |

I think Oahu blows. Go Maui or Kauai or big island. Any of those are great. You are off season so rates shouldn't be bad.
For the California part are you driving or ? Vegas will be wicked hot that time of year. You're best off sticking to the coast or the mountains. Yosemite will be a zoo, I'd go with Kings Canyon instead. Be prepared for sticker shock though as that is prime vacation time in CA. You can see/do most anything in CA. Just depends on what you like to do. Hike, sightsee, lounge on the beach, etc. |

Maui for fun w/ company you've never met yet
Kauai for relaxation w/ your family only Oahu for the airport (if neccesary) or a day at Pearl Harbor Big isle for the iron man |

Well My Daughter went to Ohau, But she was assigned there, it's an Army thing.

West side of Maui is very nice, but very commercial. East side of Maui more laid back, but fewer places too stay.
Kuawai is our favorite, very laid back gorgeous little island. It's been a while since I've been, but just a more relaxing place to me. If you go, check out Barking Sands Beach, one of the most awsome beaches in the world, IMHO. Mahalo.

Maui won!!!!. California on a van (rather a 911) but my family won´t accept! Beginning in LA ending in LA. Best places to see 917s, 908s , old 911s,?????? thanks again |
