Brings back memories. I grew up riding a blue Rickman Metisse Kawi 175 that was Dad's old MX bike before he bought a Husky. Had Ceriani forks with a whole 3 inches of travel. My ankles still hurt every time I think of that bike.

Beautiful bike.

The off-road bikes from that era are really works of art.

Rent a copy of "On Any Sunday" and watch Steve riding on the beach with Mert Lawill and Malcome Smith.

Pure magic.

+1 for On Any Sunday great bikes in there ! Beware you might want to have a 1970 Husky 400 (4speed) after watching it
Malcolm was and still is a great rider ! seeing him riding down the widowmaker was briljant.

About the helmet i dont get that either. Sure it looks like in the movie but at what risk ?
